Encouraging human expression in a future shaped by tech

Rarely are conferences opportunities to gather and discuss around an idea more-so than a topic. We saw a unique opportunity to take a stand as a conference and organise people around the belief that humans are at the centre and technology is simply the topic up for debate. Changing the basis of the conversation from tech for tech’s sake to tech and its connections to humanity, while still remaining at the forefront of what technology can and will do called for new expression and communication.  

The concept and visuals we developed for Techfestival are these beliefs manifested. From all the way down to the details of a poster to site navigation, we seek to remind our audience that it’s neither simply tech nor simply human — it’s an interrelation of both.
